As far back as I could remember, I was never far from the water. My earliest fond memories include swimming in my Grandma’s pool and playing in the sand of the Philippines’ beaches. Whether I was training or merely spending time with my family, water always found a way into my daily routine. 

 

I decided to join the swimming team because of my immense love for the water. I involved myself in the swimming community, signing up for race weekends within my school. As I improved at a rapid pace, before I knew it, swimming became my main focus and I fully dedicated my time to it.

That’s what got me into diving! I began to explore it as a side hobby, but continued to be captivated by what lies beneath the waves everytime I go on a diving trip – the entire ecosystem that most people never see. I really want to help preserve this beautiful underwater world, hence… BUOYANIHAN!
